Prepare yourselves, America. Republicans are about to unleash a brand of GOP extremism, unlike anything you’ve ever seen or even expected.

The blatant warning comes from former Donald Trump lieutenant Steve Bannon and Jeffrey Tucker, founder of the conservative Brownstone Institute. According to the 2 men, if Republicans retake the US House of Representatives and/or US Senate, the government will be dismantled in a radical way along the lines of pre-planned GOP extremism. Or, to put it more bluntly, democracy as we’ve known it will no longer exist.
“The power of the House of Representatives as the Founders envisioned it has never really been unleashed,” Bannon said during a recent podcast. “The FBI guys who monitor me should preserve your documents” because “we’re coming for you,” he added. “This administrative state is going to be taken apart brick by brick.”
In reference to the US constitution, Bannon concluded: “If it’s made by man, it can be taken apart by man.”
The warning of impending GOP extremism was co-signed by Bannon’s conservative podcast guest.
“The voters need to be prepared for what is coming,” Tucker declared. “These politicians that are running for office and then get elected need to explain very clearly what they’re about to do, which is dismantle the unelected powerful part of the state that is in effect ruling the country. And they also need to prepare voters to be aware that they’re going to be smeared and attacked and the press is going to go after them and that you need to buck up and understand why this is happening,” he continued.
“The battle is going to be — if we’re really going take this on, it’s going to be brutal and ugly and it’s going to be very, very hard for the new political class that’s coming into government to withstand the assault which is going to happen.”
So, make no mistake. Bannon and Tucker are not hinting about what might happen if America lets Republicans retake Congress. They’ve effectively hired a marching band and fire-baton twirlers to make it crystal clear that if American voters send the GOP back to control the House and Senate, we can all kiss democracy goodbye!

Thank you for posting this DJ. There are so many people taking democracy for granted. But even Obama said do not assume it will always be around. These Repubs want to end it ASAP and it could happen next election if we let them back in. There is no such thing as bipartisan anymore. They want a dictator rule their way and we have to stop pretending this is not possible because it is.
