GOP Protesters Storm Impeachment Hearing
In a White House-inspired circus stunt concocted to protect Donald Trump from indictment, a group of congressional GOP protesters stormed a House impeachment hearing on Wednesday creating chaos and causing a massive security breach in the process.
Politics
More than 2 dozen GOP protesters invaded a closed-door deposition during a secure House Intelligence Committee inquiry into Donald Trump’s Ukraine mess. Once inside, GOP Rep. Bradley Byrne of Alabama yelled in the face of committee chairman Adam Schiff, but Schiff refused to engage. However, Democratic Rep. Val Demings of Florida did find herself in a shouting match with Byrne and Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas, who screamed holy hell over the closed-door impeachment process.
Realizing there was nothing they could officially do to halt the impeachment inquiry, the GOP protesters staged a 3 ring circus in the halls of Congress at the direction of Donald Trump, who ordered his minions to defend him at all costs. The Republican lawmakers not only charged into the impeachment hearing uninvited but they also brought their cell phones with them — a strategic move that not only goes against congressional rules but is also a severe breach of security.
A cell phone inside a House Intelligence Committee meeting could be used to record sensitive information, which could then be used against the United States by a foreign or domestic enemy. Current rules mandate that any congressional staff member who is caught bringing a cell phone into a classified meeting will face an immediate firing. However, the Republican congressmen did it purposely and with impunity — all to serve, protect, and defend their fearless leader, Donald Trump.
The ultimate goal of the GOP protesters was to turn the impeachment inquiry into a circus so that the Republican base would consider the entire process a farce that is unworthy of decorum or respect. So, they demanded that Democrats make the hearings public. However, no congressional rule exists that says an investigation must be conducted publicly. Still, Democrats should have called their bluff and put the entire process on live television, airing all of Donald Trump’s dirty laundry and crooked crimes for all the world to see.
Regardless of the staged antics from congressional Republicans, the Democratically-controlled US House of Representatives appears poised to impeach Donald Trump. Getting the Republican-controlled Senate to take the evidence and the process seriously and to follow suit is a completely different story.

I don’t know DJ. I think the Dems are probably playing this just right by not putting any of it on live TV until the actual trial.
First: It keeps the Repubs off-kilter and panicked because they don’t control the process therefore they don’t control the narrative.
2nd: The Dems are hoping the *Shock Value* will be greater when ALL the evidence is laid out for the public in one grand display instead of showing a little bit here and there over time, thus revealing their hand too soon and lessening the shock value.
I think the Repub freak-out We witnessed yesterday is proof the Dem strategy is working so far.
