GOV. BREWER ENDORSED WHO?
Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, is no fan of President Obama — or is she?
The Republican Brewer, who famously wagged her finger in Mr. Obama’s face during a tarmac confrontation over immigration, accidentally endorsed the president during an MSNBC interview last week while discussing Mitt Romney’s support for increased border security.
“I know that if President Obama is elected in November, which I hope that he is, that he will be able to come together with all of us and come up with a solution,” Brewer said. “And I believe he will secure our borders and therefore we can resolve all those other issues, it’s a simple matter.”
Although we’re 99.9999% sure she meant to say “Gov. Romney” instead of “President Obama,” it was still a great blooper moment for the fall election.
Hmm…a *Freudian slip* maybe? Whatever the reason for Brewer's mistake (?) I believe in the case of SOME Repub politicians, they're just *frontin* anyway, when it comes to their dislike of, and disrespect for, the President. IOW, they're putting on a show for the Repub "base."Whether Brewer actually falls into that group? Perhaps? But it's an interesting *slip* nonetheless.
