GUILTY!
Jerry Sandusky is on suicide watch.
Late Friday night, the former Penn State coach was found guilty of 45 out of 48 counts against him for molesting young boys over several years. The charges are so severe, his sentence could amount to more than 400 years in prison, which means he will certainly spend the rest of his days in jail!
Sandusky’s trial went much quicker than most imagined. The prosecution laid out a masterful case within a week, putting victim after victim on the stand to testify how Sandusky had taken advantage of them sexually while they were children. By the time the defense took to their presentation, they had no case. Sandusky himself seemed prepared to take the stand in his own defense, but in the end did not out of fear of being pummeled by the prosecution in cross-examination.
Ironically, a day before the jury reached their verdict, Sandusky’s own adopted son announced publicly that his father had also molested him while he was a child. His admission came too late for the jury to legally take the charge into consideration of the verdict.
Although Sandusky’s attorney is planning an appeal, it is unlikely the former coach will ever taste freedom again. He is currently under suicide watch in the local jail, so that he doesn’t take his own life upon the realization of his grim fate. Once Sandusky is formally sentenced, he will be transferred to prison, where he will remain in protective custody. Hardcore prisoners are notoriously known for implementing their own form of “justice” behind bars for those who have harmed kids.
Needless to say, Jerry Sandusky has nothing positive to look forward to for his future.
Whether by his own hands or by natural cause, as long as the cretin's life ends behinds bars, I'm satisfied.Sidenote: This doesn't end it for Penn State. Civil suites are coming and if Penn State has grown a brain since this entire sorry story broke the University will settle the CASES out of court, as soon as possible.
