Have you heard the one about the Halloween cats and the scaredy-cat dog?

In honor of the upcoming October 31st holiday, a Texas family decorated their lawn with a bunch of Halloween Cats that were nothing but mere fake decorations. However, it appears the family pooch never got the memo that the lawn felines were fake.
When Maverick, the family’s black Lab, ran onto the lawn and saw that he was suddenly surrounded by a gang of black “cats,” he wasn’t sure if he should attack or was about to be attacked. So, Maverick simply froze in place — and didn’t move a muscle for what seemed to be an eternity.
Despite off-camera pleas from his owner saying “It’s okay, Maverick,” the canine refused to move or dare to bat an eye. Thankfully, he was eventually coaxed to come out of his comatose state and rejoin the family in safety.
