I had to come back and add this……..

To anyone who may be a new reader of this site I just want to share with you that THIS is not the first time DJ has posted the Truth about this holiday. He’s been doing this for a number of years and each year he sheds a bit more light (Truth) on the subject.

This time he included information about the “Italian-American heritage” as it relates to why many, if not most, Italian-Americans, in particular, want to keep celebrating “Columbus Day.” I couldn’t disagree with them more.

But at least I now know more about their opposition to changing the name of this holiday.
