HAS SCIENCE FOUND GOD?

Spread The Love

Have scientists finally found God?

Who knows?  In fact, even they don’t know.  Science is based more on tangible evidence, whereas spirituality is faith based.  But new information says it’s very possible the 2 have now coincided.

Recently, scientists discovered the Higgs Boson, which has come to be known in popular circles as “The God Particle.”

In case you’re wondering, the “Higgs boson” or “Higgs particle” is a proposed elementary particle in the Standard Model of particle physics. It was named after Peter Higgs who, along with others, predicted the existence of such a particle in 1964. The Higgs boson and the associated Higgs field explain why the other massive elementary particles in the standard model have their mass. In this theory, the Higgs field has a non-zero field everywhere, even in its lowest energy state.

The Higgs particle is a boson, which is a type of particle that allows multiple identical particles to exist in the same place in the same quantum state. But this particle has no intrinsic spin, no electric charge and no color charge. It’s also very unstable, decaying almost immediately after its creation.

If this is a bit too much scientific mumbo-jumbo for you, here’s the simplified version:  scientists have discovered evidence of a tangible particle that makes no logical sense.  The particle is at the very root of life, yet it has proven difficult to explain — sort of like the idea of God and His infinite existence.  See the connection?

Scientists are baffled.  Spiritualists are not!
