HILLARY SAYS NO!

Spread The Love

Despite being knee-deep in the midst of the 2012 presidential election, many have still been asking a lingering question: “Will she, or won’t she?”  That question refers to whether or not Hillary Clinton will run again for president in 2016.

Last week, Secretary of State Clinton, who had been saying she wasn’t yet sure what she’d do, finally put that question to rest with an emphatic NO!

Hillary said she wants her private life back and will NOT run for president in 2016, which happens to be the first time Mrs. Clinton has definitively answered the question regarding her future plans.

Should we take Hillary at face value and believe her when she says “NO means NO?” Should we consider the possibility that maybe Hillary is only saying NO so that Democrats will launch a “Draft Hillary” campaign, providing her with an unopposed path to the nomination?  Or should we all stop the madness, pay attention to the 2012 race directly in front of us and stop trying to predict the future?

I'm not buying it. The chance to be the first female president is too big to pass up. Her feelings were hurt when Dems chose Obama over her last time. I think she's gonna say no until they almost beg her. Then like DJ said she can jump in a run unopposed because the party wants her so bad.

Should we take Hillary at face value and believe her when she says "NO means NO?"

Yes. But with a caveat. Which is to say that …."NO means NO" …FOR NOW.

Hillary's no dummy. In fact (as we all know) she's a pretty smart cookie.

Yes. She'd enjoy having people beg her to run. But my guess is she'll make her *final* decision based moreso on another (and very significant), factor: If the President is re-elected, how successful will his 2nd term be?

If he ends his presidency on a HIGH note then I think it's no question. She'll run. If he doesn't then she won't.

In the meantime we should "stop the madness, pay attention to the 2012 race directly in front of us and stop trying to predict the future." ;)!
