Hillary’s Email Problem
Top News Today
During her years as U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary did not use the official and highly secure “.gov” email domain when conducting official government business. Â Instead, she opted to use her own personal email account and server to send and receive highly sensitive government messages. Â Not only did she leave her email completely vulnerable to eavesdropping or a cyberattack, but she also made it virtually impossible for the government to maintain a paper trail of ALL her communications, which is required by law.So, why exactly did the nation’s highest ranking foreign diplomat completely jeopardize national security?
Hillary Clinton says she only used her personal email for government business out of “convenience, however there are 2 other possible reasons: Â either she was honestly ignorant to the dangers of using a private email account to conduct official government business — which would make her seem incompetent for the White House, or she knew exactly what she was doing and purposely didn’t want to go on public record and be scrutinized — which would make her actions somewhat sinister. Whatever the reason for her secretive email habits, Hillary has blatantly violated President Obama’s promise for better transparency in the government and set herself up for attack by a Republican Party eager to tear her presidential hopes to shreds.
“Looking back, it would have been better for me to use two separate phones and two separate e-mail accounts,” Hillary said at a news conference following a speech at a U.N. conference on women’s economic status. “I thought using one (mobile) device would be simpler. Obviously, it hasn’t worked out that way.”

Although this appears to be a logical goodwill gesture, how can anyone be certain Hillary didn’t already delete those emails she never wanted anyone to see?  Further, how can anyone be certain that some foreign government/entity didn’t snoop on her emails and, unbeknownst to her, become privy to the information the emails contained?
Yes, Hillary has an email problem — but is it merely a minor setback that will blow over soon, or is it enough to end her presidential run before it even begins? Â Tell us in the comments below.
