You really brought out a lot of things people do not think about when it comes to college kids. Like Truth said being in college is already stress enough. When you have to worry about where you are going to sleep at night is a whole other stress. Then these kids come out of school and are in debt the next twenty years. It is just not worth it for some.

@DJ- Hear-Hear! …and thank you for doing your part to increase public awareness of this very much overlooked problem. It’s such a serious and heart-wrenching story and I had NOT heard anything about it…until now. .

Going to school, trying to concentrate on learning, completing assignments and getting good grades, can be challenging enough for students of any age or grade-level. Trying to tackle the rigors of school AND being homeless?! I have no idea how any student manages such a harsh reality.

Then being a homeless college student trying to cope with all that!?! Honestly, I don’t think I could have done it. And this is America…smh.
