Last week, former Special Counsel Robert Mueller finally spoke publicly about his 2-year long investigation into Donald Trump and his possible collusion with Russia and obstruction of justice. His direct words and indirect hints now have many in Congress and across the country ratcheting up calls for IMPEACHMENT!

Despite Trump’s and Attorney General Robert Barr’s erroneous and partisan claims that Mueller found no collusion, no obstruction, and no other wrongdoings, Mueller spoke directly to the American people to assure them those claims were bogus.
“If we had had confidence that the President clearly did NOT commit a crime, we would have said so,” Mueller emphatically stated.
.
Mueller then made it clear that his office does not have the authority to indict a sitting president — even if it wanted to (a hint that his team may have wanted to).
“Under long-standing department policy, a present president cannot be charged with a federal crime while he is in office. That is unconstitutional,” he continued. “Charging the president with a crime was therefore not an option we could consider.”
However, his next statement was dire and perhaps the most telling.
“The constitution requires a process other than the criminal justice system to formally accuse a sitting president of wrongdoing.”
“If we had had confidence that the President clearly did NOT commit a crime, we would have said so.” – Robert Mueller
Although Mueller’s words may have seemed confusing to the ear of an ordinary citizen, the message was loud and clear and well received by members of Congress.
Mueller made it clear that Donald Trump lied when he claimed The Mueller Report exonerated him of all crimes and wrongdoings. This is evident by him saying if Trump had NOT committed a crime, he would have clearly said so in the report. Since he did not, it should be evident that Donald Trump DID, in fact, commit 1 or more crimes.
Next, Mueller clarified that his office was powerless to charge Donald Trump with a crime. However, by saying that “a process other than the criminal justice system” could “formally accuse a sitting president of wrongdoing,” he was talking directly to Congress and appeared to be using a wink and a nod to direct them toward an impeachment process.
Over the weekend, members of Congress winked back at Mr. Mueller and let it be known that his message was received loud and clear.
“Given that special counsel Mueller was unable to pursue criminal charges against the President, it falls to Congress to respond to the crimes, lies and other wrongdoing of President Trump — and we will do so,” House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler said.
“Robert Mueller’s statement makes it clear: Congress has a legal and moral obligation to begin impeachment proceedings immediately,” tweeted New Jersey Democratic Sen. Cory Booker, who had previously taken a far more cautious stand on impeachment.
“Bob Mueller was essentially referring impeachment to the United States Congress,” said Democratic presidential candidate and current California senator, Kamala Harris.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also weighed in and showed that she is wisely playing her cards much closer to her vest.
Recognizing the political price Democrats would pay in 2020 from launching a failed impeachment proceeding over political and personality differences with Donald Trump, Pelosi appears poised to pick up the Mueller investigation from where it left off, collect every piece of proof imaginable to build a failsafe case, then proceed with impeachment only after every “i” is dotted and every “t” is crossed.
“Many constituents want to impeach the President, but we want to do what is right and what gets results,” Pelosi said last week in San Francisco. “We are investigating and we are litigating, and we are going to as we go down the path and make a decision based on the strongest possible case to get the best results for the American people.”
As for Donald Trump, he continued to play the predictable role of playground bully by lashing out at Robert Mueller for daring to speak to the American people about him. He also ignorantly implicated himself for further prosecution.
In a Twitter rampage late last week, ‘The Donald’ made a silly slip-up regarding his 2016 election victory, saying:
“Russia, Russia, Russia! That’s all you heard at the beginning of this Witch Hunt Hoax…And now Russia has disappeared because I had nothing to do with Russia helping me to get elected. It was a crime that didn’t exist.”

Russia, Russia, Russia! That’s all you heard at the beginning of this Witch Hunt Hoax…And now Russia has disappeared because I had nothing to do with Russia helping me to get elected. It was a crime that didn’t exist. So now the Dems and their partner, the Fake News Media,…..

Yes, you read correctly. Donald Trump admitted on Twitter that Russia helped him get elected. However, once Trump realized what he had done, he quickly deleted the tweet. Then, recognizing that millions had already seen it and that the deletion would only add suspicion to his guilt, he reposted the tweet then went on the warpath against Russia’s involvement in the 2016 election and calls for his impeachment.
“Russia did not help me get elected. You know who got me elected? You know who got me elected? I got me elected. Russia did not help me at all,” Trump angrily screamed to reporters on The White House lawn.
Regarding possible impeachment against him, Trump appeared uncharacteristically fearful.
“You know, it’s high crimes and, not with — or — it’s high crimes and misdemeanors. There was no high crime and there was no misdemeanor. So how do you impeach based on that?” Trump said to reporters.
“I don’t see how they can because they’re possibly allowed, although I can’t imagine the courts allowing it. I’ve never gone into it,” Trump added while proving he is completely clueless as to how the impeachment process works and how it does NOT involve ‘the courts.’
“I never thought that would even be possible to be using that word. To me, it’s a dirty word — the word impeach. It’s a dirty, filthy, disgusting word,” he added before walking away in silence.
So, what’s next in the Mueller/Congress/Trump impeachment saga? Does Congress have a moral obligation to further the Mueller investigation and begin impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump? Is Nancy Pelosi correct that Congress must further investigate every single detail first BEFORE heading down the impeachment road with no turning back? Or, should Democrats simply put all of their energy into defeating Trump in 2020, which would allow him to be indicted and arrested for any crimes once he’s a private citizen?

WATCH REPUBLICANS FOR IMPEACHMENT
They have to impeach him no two ways about it. The only thing is they have to do some more investigating and make it a slam duck case even the Repubs can’t argue with. Nancy Pelosi is smart so I think she will know the right time to move. I think the Dems probably have something up their sleeve anyway.
