The way Trump bad mouthed the FBI, judges, some politicians, he made a lot of enemies in a short period of time. With that said, there are a lot of people inside government that want him gone. That could be part of the reason Muller’s investigation is taking so long because they want to have plan ABCDEFG before they come out. I think they do want him gone and I think they know how dangerous he is on the inside more than we know by being on the outside. Plus they don’t want him or his element as the power of the Repub party. Even if they don’t get rid of him his presidency is already over. He can’t get anything done with all the scandal and self made mess hanging over his head. But I would not be surprised if once all the Muller charges come out they take him down.

Okay I’m home today not feeling well and on meds so please forgive me if I ramble.

In DJ’s last paragraph he asked the following:

1. “Is the Republican Party at risk of losing its stranglehold on Congress this November?”

Yes. But the Dems would be crazy to count their chickens before they hatch

2. “If Democrats regain control, would the impeachment of Donald Trump be a top priority for the new majority party?”

I doubt it but we’ll see. Frankly, I don’t think it’s a smart idea for Dems to be shooting off their mouths about it. The same goes for Nancy Pelosi shooting her mouth reminding Repub voters that if the Dems regain the House she expects to be Speaker again.

It all plays right into Trump’s hands.

3. “Would an actual impeachment or removal from office via the 25th amendment survive public opinion and be successful against Trump?”

Unless Mueller’s investigation presents overwhelming, concrete evidence of such illegal and criminal magnitude that the majority of Americans rise up and demand Trump be removed from office……my answer is No, I don’t think so.

4. “Would America really want President Pence?”

I know I don’t because Pence would be even worse than Trump …in different ways…but worse nonetheless.
