President Biden is celebrating yet another legislative accomplishment as the Inflation Reduction Act is now the law of the land.

Earlier this week, President Biden signed the new $739 billion Democratic spending plan into law. This latest victory follows the successful passage of a trillion-dollar infrastructure bill, a trillion-dollar COVID relief bill, the appointment of 41 federal judges, the appointment of the first Black female to the US Supreme Court, and more.
The new law (which is a pared-down version of Biden’s Build Back Better plan) will allocate $369 billion for energy and climate initiatives, while another $64 billion will be used to extend expiring federal subsidies for people buying health insurance for another 3 years.
“With this law, the American people won, and the special interests lost,” Biden said during a signing ceremony at the White House. “For a while, people doubted whether any of that was going to happen, but we are in a season of substance.”

The In fact, if you look at Biden’s list of actual accomplishments as president, the man record is looking pretty good. But I digress.
Very few people saw THIS accomplishment coming. And the American news media, in particular, proved once again that most of that industry has NOT a clue as to what they’re talking about. They latch onto a narrative (true or false) and they run with it! They darn near had Biden’s presidency over prior to the Dems on Capitol Hill achieving this *win* against ALL odds.
So I was a little amused as I watched most of the news media admit they got THIS wrong. Shocker. /sarcasm ..Lol
