But on Wednesday, when asked during a question and answer session with reporters what his time frame for making that decision was, Sanders did not want to discuss it, telling CNN’s Manu Raju, “I’m dealing with a f**king global crisis.”

Sanders, who was at work in the US Senate to address the pandemic, added that “right now I’m trying to do my best to make sure that we don’t have an economic meltdown and that people don’t die. Is that enough for you to keep me busy for today?”

Under normal circumstances, Sanders could do what he did in 2016: Stay in the race and spend the next three months pressuring his opponent, this time Joe Biden, to take progressive policy positions — all the while amassing delegates who could turn into leverage as the party develops its platform. But the spread of the coronavirus has halted all in-person campaigning, preventing the Vermont senator from holding the large rallies that define his campaign. And the usual schedule of debates and primaries that would be opportunities for Sanders this time won’t exist.

Btw- This should end, once and for all, Caucuses and having Iowa and New Hampshire go first in the Dem primaries. The amount of time (years) and money spent in both of those states by most presidential candidates, every 4 years, is an absolute waste!

Bernie and his campaign staff literally remained in Iowa (and other pertinent states) after 2016 in preparation for his run in 2020 (several other candidates spent significant time and money in those states too). And yet, all that time, money, organizing and planning meant absolutely Nothing. Bernie lost Iowa to a gay man who is married to a man!

Biden had no money, literally no organization and barely campaigned in most places….and yet, he won the nomination. Proving that conventional wisdom, rally sizes, pre-vote polls and pundit-idiocy are played out.

This race ended Sunday night when the debate happened. That was Bernie’s chance to knock Biden down some but he did not do it. Biden was on top of his game plus he looked presidential. Bernie looked like a idea guy but not a leader. Biden has been going behind Trump telling everybody how a president should be handling this crisis and Bernie was just been shouting and looking mad. We’ve been patient with Bernie but enough is enough. There’s no good reason to drag this out any longer.

This isn’t about any Dem “establishment.” This is about Us…the voters. And WE…the voters…have spoken.

As DJ expressed: “it’s over, Bernie, and time to go!”
