Last Sunday when Kanye West interrupted country newcomer Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech at the MTV Awards, many of the famous and the infamous chimed in with their personal thoughts on the controversy. Celebrities Tweeted about it, talked about it, and even wrote about it on their blogs. But the most famous “celebrity” in the country was a bit caught off guard when his personal comments were made public.

In what should have been private, “off-the-record” comments, ABC News inadvertently recorded President Obama calling the controversial rapper a “JACKASS!” The President later joked about his remarks, saying he hoped they would indeed remain private and off-the-record.
