James Comey Book And TV Tell-All
For months, Donald Trump has been working the media to beat up on former FBI Director James Comey. Now, an exasperated Comey is fighting back and the punches he’s landing is forcing the dazed “Donald” up against the ropes.

In a carefully choreographed “One-Two Punch,” James Comey released his tell-all book “A Higher Loyalty,” late last week. Then on Sunday, he sat down with George Stephanopoulos for ABC’s “20/20” to tell even more. Plus, he will speak with CNN’s Jake Tapper next Thursday.
So, why has Comey suddenly emerged from the shadows in an all-out media blitz? According to his own words, he wants the world to know that Donald Trump is “a relentless liar who is obsessively unethical, devoid of humanity and a slave to his ego, is clueless about his job and unconcerned about a Russian assault on American democracy.”
Ouch!
To say that James Comey merely attacked Donald Trump via his book and television interview would be an understatement. The reality is, Comey went for the jugular vein with the full intent to draw blood and leave a personal mark,
In his book and TV appearance, Comey made fun of the size of Trump’s hands, called his skin orange, then pointed out how he has these nasty white rings around his eyes from years of tanning goggles. However, Comey wasn’t just satisfied in hurting Trump’s feelings. He wanted to expose the brazen reality TV star for demanding a warped sense of loyalty, for treating the FBI as if it were his own personal investigative service obliged to do his bidding, and for somehow believing that he is “King-like” and above the rule of law.
For example, Comey said dealing with Trump reminded him of his days prosecuting Mafia kingpins with their “silent circle of assent.”
“The boss in complete control. The loyalty oaths. The us-versus-them worldview. The lying about all things, large and small, in service to some code of loyalty that put the organization above morality and above the truth.”
“A person who sees moral equivalence in Charlottesville, who talks about and treats women like they’re pieces of meat, who lies constantly about matters big and small and insists the American people believe it, that person’s not fit to be president of the United States, on moral grounds.” – James Comey
According to James Comey, Trump’s understanding that the Justice Department doesn’t work directly for him is limited, at best. In fact, Comey said Trump’s concept of a separation between the professional and personal is meaningless and non-existent.
“What is happening now is not normal. … It is not fake news. It is not okay,” Comey said, painting a picture of the man inside the Oval Office who hasn’t a single clue of what he is doing.
“His presidency is doing, and will do, tremendous damage to our norms and our values, especially the truth. And so that’s bad. And terrible things happen in forest fires.” – James Comey

Once “The Donald” realized that James Comey had publicly pummeled him to the point of seeing stars, a bitter and angry Trump took to Twitter to sling his nasty retort.
“James Comey is a proven LEAKER & LIAR,” Trump began. “Virtually everyone in Washington thought he should be fired for the terrible job he did-until he was, in fact, fired. He leaked CLASSIFIED information, for which he should be prosecuted. He lied to Congress under OATH. He is a weak and untruthful slimeball who was, as time has proven, a terrible Director of the FBI. His handling of the Crooked Hillary Clinton case, and the events surrounding it, will go down as one of the worst “botch jobs” of history. It was my great honor to fire James Comey!”

“We find that Mr. Comey has a revisionist view of history and seems like a disgruntled ex-employee,” Trump flunkie Kellyanne Conway said.
“Hell hath no fury like an FBI director scorned,” former Trump economic adviser Stephen Moore mused.
Stay tuned… it’s almost a certainty that more mud will be slung soon!

Full disclosure: I didn’t watch Comey’s interview last night nor will I be buying his book. From all the reporting I’ve heard thus far, the book doesn’t reveal any “smoking gun.” So take out all the petty stuff in the book and the interview, Comey primarily does two things: 1. He states more clearly some of the primary reasons Trump is totally UNFIT to serve as president of the United States. 2. He attempts (though subtly) to paint himself as “the good guy” versus “the bad guy” Trump – while pretty much giving himself a pass on the role HE played in this entire colossal mess we find ourselves in. Is Comey more credible than Trump?… Read more »
