Jeter Calls It A Career
After an extraordinary 20-year professional baseball career, NY Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter made his 3,465th hit yesterday at Fenway Park in Boston, then called it a career.

Now 40 years old, Jeter has done it all: 1,923 runs, 260 home runs, 1,311 RBI’s, 358 stolen bases, 14 All-Star appearances and 5 World Series wins. He leaves behind a stellar career with his next stop most assuredly to be the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Congratulations, Derek!
OK WASSUP! follows the latest current events, including the
official last game and retirement of NY Yankees star Derek Jeter.
What I admire most about Derek is that (unless there's concrete evidence otherwise) he played the game *Clean* for 20 years. No PEDs during an era when other Star and SuperStar MLB players were on the *juice* (and lying about it) left and right.
Also commendable is the fact that Derek kept his private life, for the most part, Private. No Facebook. No Twitter. No Scandal of any kind.
