“Paul Manafort, Indicted as an Adviser, Admits to Lying About Ties to Russia”

WASHINGTON — President Trump’s campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, was indicted Monday on charges that he funneled millions of dollars through overseas shell companies and used the money to buy luxury cars, real estate, antiques and expensive suits.

The charges against Mr. Manafort and his longtime associate Rick Gates represent a significant escalation in a special counsel investigation that has cast a shadow over Mr. Trump’s first year in office.

Separately, one of the early foreign policy advisers to Mr. Trump’s presidential campaign, George Papadopoulos, pleaded guilty to lying to the F.B.I. about a contact with a Russian professor with ties to Kremlin officials, prosecutors said on Monday. [….] – Washington Post

I don’t think Trump is trying to hide anything. In fact, to me it looks like he actually tried to use the releasing of this info in a desperate attempt to divert eyes AWAY from 1). his sh*tstorm of a presidency, in general, and 2) the criminal indictments (underway and pending) of high-level Trump campaign officials and associates, more specifically.

Do I believe that Pres. Kennedy’s assassination was the lone-wolf act of Lee Harvey Oswald? No. I believe it was a conspiracy. I’m just not sure we will ever know who else was actually involved.
