John Boehner Book Eviscerates The GOP
If you haven’t already, you may want to add the new John Boehner Book to your “Must Read” list when it publishes later this month.

Former Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner, who retired in 2015 after serving only 4 years as speaker, has absolutely had it with the Republican Party. In fact, he is so done with the GOP that he has written a tell-all John Boehner book that completely rips the conservative party to shreds.
Boehner represented the State of Ohio in Congress from 1991 to 2011, and then as speaker until 2015 when he resigned due to ongoing conflicts with his fellow Republicans.
“I may have been Speaker, but I didn’t hold all the power,” Boehner, 71, wrote while referring to the Republican caucus at the time as “Crazytown.”
“You could be a total moron and get elected just by having an R next to your name,” he said about the GOP winning back control of the House in 2010, with 87 newly elected representatives. “And that year, by the way, we did pick up a fair number in that category.”
In a leaked audio clip clip from the John Boehner book, the former speaker told the story of the time he told Sen. Ted Cruz to “go f-ck” himself.
A Boehner spokesperson later confirmed that Boehner had several “off-script moments” while recording the audiobook due to a trusty glass of red wine in hand.
“He pretty much just let it fly, as he did when he was working on the book itself,” the spokesperson said.

Poured myself a glass of something nice to read my audiobook. You can blame the wine for the expletives. #OnTheHouse #13Apr2021 pic.twitter.com/5uN709ipOs

In one excerpt, Boehner described a failed attempt at teaching the freshman class of Republicans about the importance of working with Democratic colleagues to “actually get things done.”
“A lot of that went straight through the ears of most of them, especially the ones who didn’t have brains that got in the way,” he said, adding later that the new GOP lawmakers only “wanted wedge issues and conspiracies and crusades.”
Boehner also described his shock at Fox News’ penchant to stir paranoia about then-President Barack Obama, including the baseless and racist conspiracy claims that he wasn’t born in the US.
“They saw me as much of an ‘enemy’ as the guy in the White House,” he said of his own party members after they berated him for not joining their “anti-Obama” campaign.
Boehner said he never anticipated “the extent to which this new crowd hated—and I mean hated—Barack Obama.”
“How do you find common cause with people who think you are a secret Kenyan Muslim traitor to America?” he added.
When excerpts from the John Boehner book became public, Fox News personality Sean Hannity (whom Boehner denounces in his book), attacked Boehner on Twitter, calling him “weak, timid and what’s up with all the crying John?”
Rather than become a willing participant in a hateful GOP, Boehner walked away from his congressional career and resigned from the powerful position that was only 2 steps from the presidency.
The new book from Speaker John Boehner is entitled On the House and will be on shelves before the end of April.

No John. They didn’t really believe Obama was “a secret Kenyan Muslim traitor to America.” They knew d*mn well he’s an American. But they needed some bullsh*t excuse to Hate him because admitting they Hate him for being a highly successful BLACK man who turned their world view on “Race” completely on its head would mean acknowledging that Whites AREN’T actually superior to Blacks, or any other race for that matter. So those White racists pretended he was a “foreign born traitor.”
