Kamala ‘Big Guns’ Prep For 2024 Election

- The Obama's, Liz Cheney, and more will join Harris in the final stretch

The Kamala ‘Big Guns’ are getting prepped and ready to escort Vice President Harris across the finish line ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

Politics :
Interestingly, Donald Trump has made enemies with much of his own Republican Party and has no GOP heavy hitters lined up to lend him support for next month’s election. For example, George W. Bush (the lone living Republican president) has not/will not endorse or campaign on behalf of Trump. Dan Quayle, Dick Cheney, and Mike Pence (the lone living Republican vice presidents) have not/will not endorse or campaign on behalf of Trump.  In fact, Pence wants nothing further to do with his former boss.

By contrast and with less than a month to go before the November election, the Kamala Big Guns have started lining up by the droves.

Last week, former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney did the unthinkable. Not only did she endorse Kamala Harris during the Democratic National Convention, but she campaigned alongside the vice president during a Wisconsin rally on Thursday.

“I tell you, I have never voted for a Democrat, but this year, I am proudly casting my vote for Vice President Kamala Harris,”  Liz Cheney said during a rally in Ripon, Wisconsin. “Donald Trump was willing to sacrifice our Capitol, to allow law enforcement officers to be beaten and brutalized in his name, and to violate the law and the Constitution in order to seize power for himself,” Cheney continued. “I don’t care if you are a Democrat or Republican or an independent, that is depravity and we must never become numb to it.”

Anyone “who would do these things can never be trusted with power again,” she concluded amid cheers of “Thank you, Liz!”

Another of the Kamala Big Guns we will soon see more of is former President Barack Obama.

According to The New York Times, Mr. Obama has agreed to not only stump for Vice President Harris across multiple battleground states for the next 27 days, but film commercials and lend his name to campaign ads, too.

President Obama’s appearance alongside Ms. Harris for the next several weeks is expected to also include his wife, Michelle Obama, who is one of the most famous and beloved women in the world.

As if that weren’t enough, music icon Bruce Springsteen has joined the Kamala Big Guns.

On Friday, ‘The Boss’ took to social media to announce his full support for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

“Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are committed to a vision of this country that respects and includes everyone, regardless of class, religion, race, political point of view or sexual identity,” the Grammy-winner said in a video statement on Instagram. “That’s the vision of America that I’ve been consistently writing about for 55 years.

“Perhaps not since the Civil War has this great country felt as politically, spiritually, and emotionally divided as it does than at this moment,” Springsteen continued. “It doesn’t have to be this way. The common values and the shared stories that make us a great and united nation are waiting to be rediscovered and retold once again.”

Democratic vice presidential hopeful Tim Walz was floored by the endorsement.

“Wow! As a lifelong fan of The Boss, I couldn’t be more honored to have his support,” Walz posted on Twitter/X last Thursday.

Bruce Springsteen joins Taylor Swift, Stevie Wonder, and Carole King as just a few of the music industry heavyweights who have publicly joined the Kamala Big Guns.  Rumor has it that ‘The Boss’ may lead a fundraising concert for Harris/Walz in the coming weeks.

I couldn’t agree more with Bruce Springsteen! In fact, I would posit that this election is the Civil War Part II (the Conclusion). And I pray that WE (the majority of Americans who truly love this coutry and treasure our Freedoms) will win again! 🙏

Newsweek:
Former President Barack Obama will be campaigning for Vice President Kamala Harris in key battleground states in the run-up to Election Day—a move that could give her campaign a boost with Black voters, as she fails to match President Joe Biden’s 2020 figures.

The Harris campaign said Obama, who served as president from 2009 to 2017, will travel around the country to rally voters for the final 27 days before the election, starting with a trip to Pittsburgh on Thursday.

The announcement of Obama’s plans to hit the campaign trail came as polls have shown Harris, while still having the support of the majority of Black voters, is lagging behind Biden’s 2020 margins with the key demographic.

Mr.BD

I am real late today but just got off a plane. I am glad to see all the endorsements coming in for her. But people still have to go vote. It is crazy the election is in a few weeks.
