Kari Lake Gets Twitter Teased For Losing!
Sorry, but this has just not been a good week for Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake.
Politics :
The good news is that her omnipotent savior, Donald Trump, announced on Tuesday he is running for president (again) in 2024. However, the bad news is that Kari lost her bid to become the next Republican governor of Arizona.
Yes, Kari Lake was convinced she was invincible and that the governorship would be handed to her by Arizona voters on a silver platter. After all, the one-time Democrat (who, apparently hung out with the wrong crowd and somehow became a MAGA Republican) had Donald Trump’s own personal endorsement in her back pocket. How could she lose? How could anything go wrong?
Well, she did lose and everything did go wrong.
After a week of tabulating votes, Arizona’s Republican secretary of state took to television to deliver the bad news. Kari fell short of her bid and was defeated by Democratic Governor-elect Katie Hobbs.
According to the Associated Press, Hobbs secured 50.4% — a total of 1,266,922 votes — to Lake’s 49.6% — a total of 1,247,428 votes.
“Wow! They just took the election away from Kari Lake,” Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social network. “It’s really bad out there.”
For her part, Lake continued her braggadocious ways, tweeting “Democracy is worth the wait. Thank you, Arizona. I am so honored and so proud to be your next Governor.”
Too bad her tweet never came to fruition.
Elsewhere on social media, voters from across the country were giddy with excitement and dancing in the streets at the news that Lake had lost.
But why, you ask? It’s because Kari Lake is a bombastic bully known for mocking her detractors and insulting any and everyone who dares to challenge her make-believe sense of reality.
Kari once told a group of supporters of the late John McCain to “go to hell” and “get the hell out.” She appeared on television interviews boasting that she would accept the election results only because she was “100% certain” that she would win. She referred to her own state of Arizona as “the laughingstock of elections.” She even once picked a fight with fellow Republican, Rep. Liz Cheney.
Now, Americans are taking to social media to make an absolute mockery of Kari Lake for her “I’m 100% certain I will win” loss.
Kari Lake losing will be such a good thing for this country.

An Arizona Republican strategist texted me this tonight: “Kari Lake told a legion of John McCain supporters across Arizona that they could go to hell. Tonight, they returned the favor.” @KariLake

So let me understand the logic… if i lose its stolen but if i win its legit? Seems a little 1 sided doent it? 😂🤔 maybe instead of crying its time for republicans to actually stand for something… 🤷♂️

One Twitter user even delivered a prize-winning response to Lake’s suggestion that the election was “stolen” from her (as if it was magically hers without earning it) and that “Arizonans know BS when they see it.”
“Pretty sure that’s why they voted against YOU,” the user tweeted.
Even Liz Cheney found a moment to mock Arizona’s biggest loser.
Prior to the midterm elections, Cheney ran ads against Lake saying if she could, she would “absolutely” vote for a Democratic governor in Arizona instead of a Trump/MAGA election denier like Kari Lake.
Needless to say, Lake didn’t care for Cheney’s comments — so, she posted a sarcastic letter on Twitter to thank the Wyoming congresswoman for her “anti-endorsement.”
“Thank you again for the huge boost to our campaign! Enjoy your forced retirement from politics,” Lake spewed sarcastically in her letter to Cheney. “I know America will rest easier knowing that one more warmonger is out of office.”
Interestingly, the moment it was announced Kari Lake had lost her gubernatorial bid, Rep. Cheney tweeted a succinct response to Lake’s earlier letter of “thanks.”
“You’re welcome,” Cheney said simply, clearly enjoying the last laugh.
Check and Mate!
You’re welcome, @KariLake. https://t.co/5jVFIprwxS

OK WASSUP! discusses Politics:
Social media KO’s Arizona’s Kari Lake.
“Wow! They just took the election away from Kari Lake,” Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social network. “It’s really bad out there.” – H/t: DJ
Uh-huh. And pretty much no one outside MAGA-world paid him (OR her for that matter) any attention at all. That’s how far he (and she) has fallen.
Like most people, I am elated she lost. But I’m also mindful that she lost…just barely. And she isn’t the only right-wing extremist to lose in a tight race. WE still have a lot of work to do!
Btw I think Kari’s extremism was mostly performative (an act) to get the attention of Trump and appeal to MAGA voters, which makes her all the more repulsive in my eyes!
