KIM JONG-IL A FAKE?
During the summer, former President Bill Clinton heroically flew to North Korea, met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il for a photo-op, and successfully freed 2 American hostages being held in the communist nation. Or did he?
OK WASSUP! Yes, President Clinton did travel to North Korea and yes he did gain freedom for the hostages. But according to some, he did not meet with Kim Jong-Il. Instead, reports are he met with a body double. A number of expert foreign analysts say the North Korean leader is too ill for personal appearances, and a look-alike has been standing in for him on nearly all of the 122 trips he’s made this year to factories, cultural events, military units, etc. In fact, several North Korean refugees say that Kim has not one but several look-alikes playing his role.
Now before you toss this theory into the loony bin, consider how logical and necessary this would be for security reasons. Also, remember that former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein had several look-alikes on hand just before the U.S. invasion in 2003. So it’s very possible Kim may be unable to travel outside Pyongyang while his health remains uncertain and while he prepares his youngest son to take over as early as next year. In fact, Japanese writer Toshimitsu Shigemura has written two books and numerous articles claiming that Kim has been seriously ill for the past decade and may even have died. Mr. Shigemura says that if the real Kim, looking wan and weak, appeared before the Supreme People’s Assembly several days after North Korea fired a long-range missile on April 5, then it must have been a look-alike who hosted former President Bill Clinton in August.
WILL THE REAL KIM JONG-IL PLEASE STAND UP?
Sounds silly but I wouldn't put it past N. Korea to pull this one off.
