Kitara Ravache = Rep. George Santos
Was embattled Republican congressman George Santos once a drag queen in Brazil? Just ask Kitara Ravache.
Entertainment :
After lying about his resume, his past experience, and even his mother being killed in the 9/11 attacks (she wasn’t), Santos is now lying about his drag queen past.
A recent report revealed that the new congressman performed for more than 3 years as ‘Kitara’ while living in Brazil. As expected, he initially denied the claim — before actually admitting that it was only a one-time thing (it wasn’t) at a festival while he was young.
“Sue me for having a life,” Santos angrily barked at reporters during a live video feed.
This comes after the GOP-led House of Representatives released a bio about George Santos with very limited information.
“Little else is known about Santos that is verifiably true,” the bio stated.
Well, leave it to guest host Wanda Sykes and Comedy Central’s THE DAILY SHOW to poke a bit of fun at Santos/Ravache’s expense.
Take a look at the video below and check out the hijinx for yourself.
THANK GOD IT’S FRIDAY!
OK WASSUP! covers Entertainment News:
George Santos as drag queen Kitara Ravache.
I haven’t seen Wanda Sykes in quite awhile. There a was a time I really wasn’t into her brand of comedy but that was then and this is now.
That video is funny…Lol
Hey DJ, thanks for sharing it!
Btw CNN interviewed his ex-boyfriend last night.
CNN: George Santos’ ex says congressman will never resign because ‘his ego is too big’
The former boyfriend of New York Rep. George Santos says the Long Island Republican facing growing calls to resign for extensively lying about his past will never do so, even as he faces multiple investigations, including into his finances.
“His ego is too big. He’s not gonna resign. If they don’t find out something to get him (to leave) he’s not gonna do it. That’s for sure, knowing the person that he is,” Pedro Vilarva told CNN’s Erin Burnett Thursday on “OutFront.”
Vilarva said he met Santos in 2014, when he was 18 years old. Santos was 26 at the time and married to a woman. They moved in together shortly after Vilarva graduated high school. The relationship broke down, Vilarva said, as he became increasingly suspicious of Santos, who repeatedly said he was going to take Vilarva to Hawaii and propose, but never did. Vilarva believes that Santos eventually stole his phone and hawked it for cash.
CNN has reached out to Santos’ lawyer for comment on the allegation.
Asked if he was surprised that Santos is now a member of Congress, Vilarva said he was not.
“What he always looked for was fame and power,” Vilarva said. “That’s all he cared about and he got it.”
Santos was married to a woman for the duration of his relationship with Vilarva, who told CNN he only learned of it after he moved out of Santos’ home. […] – Jan. 26, 2023
Seriously though, I view this guy as the personification of the Republican party and also of American society and culture writ large.
TGIF!
I didn’t really like Wanda Sykes hosting the Daily Show, but this skit was funny.
