Thank you for pointing that out Truthiz, however BD is correct here. Since Kitchenaid was employing their own Twitter team, the deviant who posted the tweet was representing the company. So in theory, Kitchenaid was responsible for its twitter content and was therefore at fault. However, I do agree that it was the right thing to do for the company to come forward and apologize immediately. My recent post RECONSIDER COLUMBUS DAY!

I know Kitchenaide apologized for what happened. But they did let this employee put out statements for them on Twitter so that person was speaking for Kitchenaide. Seems like Kitchenaide is responsible here. I'm glad they spoke up right away though.

Hmm. Maybe I'm missing something(?)

But it appears that the insulting comment was the work of a staff person (or persons) on the KitchenAid's twitter team. And it also appears that as soon as the head of KitchenAid was made aware of the insulting message she took to twitter with a "swift apology."

If that is indeed the case then I think the subject title is just a little misleading DJ.
