KKK Politicians Outed By ‘Anonymous’ Group
The hactivist group “Anonymous” sent shockwaves through the political world on Monday, when it outed several local and national politicians as active members of the KKK — yes, you read that correctly — the Ku Klux Klan!

In a post on the document-dumping site Pastebin, Anonymous named US Senators Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), John Cornyn (R-Tx.), Dan Coats (R-In.) and Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) as members of the KKK. Anonymous also outed several mayors of major US cities, including Madeline Rogero of Knoxville, Tennessee; Jim Gray of Lexington, Kentucky; Paul D. Fraim of Norfolk, Virginia; Kent Guinn of Ocala, Florida; and Tom Henry of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Despite this already impressive list, Anonymous says they’re not done and the names of more politicians and public figures are on the way.

Sen. John Cornyn, who Anonymous says is affiliated with the United White Knights of the KKK, is the current Senate Majority Whip, making him one of the most powerful members of the US Senate.
Sen. Johnny Isakson, who served as a US Congressman from Georgia’s 6th Congressional District between 1999 and 2005, is listed as a member of the Original Knight Riders of the KKK. He is currently Georgia’s senior US Senator and is up for re-election in 2016.
Sen. Dan Coats, who is Indiana’s senior US Senator, is listed as a member of the United Northern and Southern Knights of the KKK.
Sen. Thom Tillis, who is listed as a member of the United Northern and Southern Knights of the KKK in Thornton, was North Carolina’s Speaker of the House before being elected to the US Senate in 2014. Interestingly, Tillis was behind the implementation of numerous far-right policies in his state including voter ID laws, public education cuts, restrictions on abortion that were later struck down by federal judges, tax hikes on low-income earners to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy, and more.
Mayor Jim Gray of Lexington, Kentucky, who is openly gay, is listed as a member of the United Northern and Southern Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. Gray took to Twitter on Monday to vehemently deny any ties to the KKK.
I am opposed to everything the KKK stands for. I have no idea where this information came from, but wherever it came from, it is wrong.

On Halloween, the husband and several friends of Lahoma, Oklahoma Mayor Theresa Sharp dressed up as KKK members and set a cross on fire. Cary Sharp has since apologized, claiming it was all in fun, however the damage was already done.

Operation KKK, which used Pastebin to expose members of the public and politicians who belong to hate groups, has garnered quite a bit of attention within the past 24 hours (Pastebin is the same site hackers of the Ashley Madison website used to dump large text files of information). The political figures named as having ties to the KKK in the leaked Pastebin files has taken the Internet and social media into overdrive.
“These are the officials that have political power in the USA that are associated with either KKK or racist related groups. Addresses will not be released so nobody gets it in their mind to take out their own justice against them. Brought to you by Amped Attacks: @sgtbilko420”
Anonymous says it will release more names of prominent figures, who are active members of the Original Knight Riders Of the KKK, United Northern and Southern Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, United White Knights Of The Ku Klux Klan, KU KLOS KNIGHTS of the Ku Klux Klan, Traditionalist American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, as well as other hate groups.
Anonymous took action against the Klan in November of last year, after members of the group threatened violence against peaceful protesters in Ferguson, Missouri. In a statement last week, Anonymous said it felt justified in “applying transparency” to the KKK.
“You are more than extremists. You are more than a hate group,” the online statement said. “You operate much more like terrorists and you should be recognized as such. You are terrorists that hide your identities beneath sheets and infiltrate society on every level. The privacy of the Ku Klux Klan no longer exists in cyberspace. You’ve had blood on your hands for nearly 200 years.”
The statement continued: “We will release, to the global public, the identities of up to 1,000 Klan members, Ghoul Squad affiliates and other close associates of various factions of the Ku Klux Klan across the United States.”
The Ghoul Squad is an auxiliary organization for KKK supporters.
Anonymous took down a KKK-linked Twitter account in November last year, while releasing the identities of a number of clan members. The hactivist group says it does not fear the KKK, or anyone for that matter, and that the time has come for the KKK members hiding in plain sight to be exposed for who and what they are.
“… as i have said the reason i do not list the addresses of these people i do not want anybody to easily see this and take criminal action against these racist scum… #Exposed #YouMadBro”
Oh boy. I don't see this story going away any time soon. This is going to get ugly quick and it should. The senate whip being active in the Klan???? Oh boy.
