KKK Sparks Fight Over Confederate Flag
Members of the Ku Klux Klan learned a hard lesson last weekend, after parading around the Charleston, South Carolina State Capitol while waving the Confederate flag.
Current Events
Apparently, the KKK didn’t get the memo — the Confederate flag is an unwelcome racist symbol that insults African-Americans and others, which is why it’s being yanked down in a variety of southern states. So, instead of accepting reality that the controversial flag’s days are numbered, the KKK chose to march outside the SC statehouse, waving the flag and taunting black bystanders with it in the process.
While holding the Nazi flag and giving the Nazi salute, a KKK member confronted a black woman who was verbally expressive against the Confederate flag.
“Are you in shackles?” the Klansman said as the woman continued to yell at him. “Are you in shackles?” he repeated. “Are you in shackles?”
“No,” she responded.
“Well you should be. You should be in shackles,” he said.
While under protection of the police, another KKK member openly boasted, “Yeah, we showed them we aren’t scared of anybody!” Hmmm…
Needless to say, the rest of the story didn’t go so well (for the KKK, that is).
It was almost like the old Muhammed Ali vs. Joe Frazier “Thrilla in Manilla,” as members of the Loyal White Knights of the KKK were greeted unceremoniously by members of the New Black Panther Party. Let’s just say the New Black Panther Party’s “welcome wagon” didn’t greet the KKK with a bouquet of flowers, but instead with a bit of brute force and a lesson they won’t soon forget.
As the KKK taunted bystanders with the Confederate flag and called for it’s “rightful return” to the South Carolina Statehouse, several black men rushed the Klan, chasing one into traffic and ripping the Confederate flag into shreds before his very eyes. One KKK member was so shocked and frightened by the unexpected backlash, that he wet his pants out of fear.
According to the South Carolina Department of Public Safety, 5 arrests were reported and 7 people were transported by ambulance for medical treatment. Authorities were eventually forced to shut down the KKK rally an hour early just to safely disperse the estimated 2,000 people.
Interestingly, the KKK rally in support of the Confederate flag came a week and a day after the flag was permanently removed from outside the Capitol building.
LOL the guy peeing his pants is hilarious. I guess the KKK knows not to mess with black people no more like they used to.
