President-elect Donald J. Trump’s transition operation plunged into disarray on Tuesday with the abrupt resignation of Mike Rogers, who had handled national security matters, the second shake-up in a week on a team that has not yet begun to execute the daunting task of taking over the government.
Mr. Pence took the helm of the effort on Friday after Mr. Trump unceremoniously removed Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey, who had been preparing with Obama administration officials for months to put the complex transition process into motion. Now the effort is frozen, senior White House officials say, because Mr. Pence has yet to sign legally required paperwork to allow his team to begin collaborating with President Obama’s aides on the handover.

Trump didn't even know what a president does and didn't know he has to hire a whole new staff so it proves he's a bigger clown than we first thought he was. As for his team I expect a lot of fighting between them. Steve Bannon is a all out racist who wants to bring the KKK into the White house. Rence Prebus is representing the Repubs who think Trump is going to do whatever they tell him to do. So it's going to be a lot of fights and probably nothing will get done. You reap what you sow.

The truth is, since election night, I've stayed away from most tv news networks especially cable news. Except for my local news and PBS News Hour, I consider the rest to be of absolutely NO value to me at all at this point in time.

And on that note – My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Gwen Ifill, who passed away yesterday. She died of Endometrial cancer. She was 61. For those of you who may be interested:
.
Gwen was a Peabody Award-winning journalist, television newscaster, and author. She was the moderator and managing editor of Washington Week and co-anchor and co-managing editor, with Judy Woodruff, of PBS NewsHour, both of which air on PBS. Ifill was a political analyst and moderated the 2004 and 2008 American vice-presidential debates. She was the author of the best-selling book The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama. […]

She was IMO an outstanding journalist. Always well prepared and displayed the highest character, skill and professionalism – qualities which are sorely lacking in today's news media industry. When I think of Gwen the words – Grace, Dignity, Intelligence and Integrity comes quickly to mind.

May she Rest in Peace. She will be missed.

A clueless, narcissistic fake alpha dog -and con-man ta boot- is who millions of Americans voted for as THEIR president. And that's exactly who they've got.

As I already expressed last week – while I do respect the OFFICE of the presidency, on a personal basis Trump can never be my president. I could never accept an ignorant, racist, bigot and hatemonger as my president. Period.

(Side-note)
Hillary Clinton’s lead in the popular vote continues to grow to historic dimensions as states count outstanding absentee and provisional ballots. […]

H/T: NYTimes, HuffPost et all

She is at least 1.8 million votes ahead of Trump, as of 2 days ago. .

In other words, my faith in the majority of American voters is confirmed.
