No one knows for sure who will be Donald Trump’s running mate this November — but almost everyone can say with certainty who it WON’T be: Kristi Noem.

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem was once considered the perfect running mate for Donald Trump. She’s a hard-line MAGA darling, she’s long been considered a rising star in the MAGA movement, she treats Trump as if he’s the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ, and she’s eager to do whatever Trump orders her to do (unlike Mike Pence, who refused to halt the 2020 election certification). As if all of that wasn’t enough, she’s also a woman.
The stars were all aligning PERFECTLY for Kristi Noem to be Trump’s VP pick — and then, she released a book.
In her new memoir, No Going Back, the SD governor sparked so many controversies that her own MAGA tribe and even Donald Trump himself have already turned their backs on her.
For example, Noem wrote an anecdote about how she once “stared down” North Korean leader Kim Jong-un during a meeting that only took place in her mind.
During a combative interview earlier this week, Newsmax host Rob Finnerty raked the governor over the coals regarding her Kim Jong-un story.
“I think part of the problem with politics today is that politicians aren’t honest with the American people,” Finnerty began.
“That’s true, I agree,” replied Noem.
“Governor, if you asked me a month ago who’s at the top of the list to run with Donald Trump, I would have said your name,” Finnerty continued. “[However,] If you asked me that same question this morning, I don’t even think you’re on the list.”
“Really? And why is that?” questioned Noem.
“Yes, really, and it’s because of things that have come out in this book — like your claims that you met Kim Jong-un. Governor, that never happened, did it?” Finnerty asked.
After several stumbling moments to decide if she should continue her fabrication or choose honesty, the governor settled somewhere in the middle.
“I’m not going to talk about my conversations with world leaders,” she declared in an obvious attempt to dodge the question.
“Governor, I’m not asking you about the details of this alleged meeting. I’m asking if the meeting actually happened,” Finnerty pressed while suggesting that Noem didn’t need to be specific.
“The buck stops with me. This anecdote I should not have put in the book, and I asked to have it taken out and it is,” Noem admitted after she was cornered to finally come clean.
Under normal circumstances, her alternative facts and “misremembering” a make-believe meeting with Kim Jong-un would have been overlooked by the MAGA crowd since they don’t care much for facts or the truth. However, another anecdote turned out to be an absolute deal-breaker.
In the book, Kristi Noem proudly told the tale of how her 14-month-old puppy was so useless and seemingly untrainable, that she was forced to take it to an alley and shoot it dead.
“I hated that dog,” Noem wrote, deeming the puppy “untrainable.”
“At that moment, I realized I had to put her down,” Noem continued. So, she led the pup to a gravel pit and killed her.
During a Tuesday interview on Fox Business, host Stuart Varney asked Kristi Noem to explain why she thought her puppy was “less than worthless” and that shooting it was better than giving it away or adopting it out.
The question caused her to completely lose composure.
“Enough, Stuart. This interview is ridiculous, which you are doing right now,” Noem snapped. “So you need to stop. It is OK. It is. Let’s talk about some real topics that Americans care about.”
“Well, I’m afraid we’re out of time,” Varney said in closing.
Surprisingly, the puppy story was too much for even Donald Trump and his MAGA sycophants.
“What is wrong with her?” Trump is said to have rhetorically asked about her behavior.
Needless to say, he has since turned on Noem faster than all the times he braggadociously “made his move” on women.

This ridiculous woman is typical of most right-wingers in a position of power. Eager to show how supposedly “tough” she is by bragging about being Heartless, craven, dishonest and a loon!
