KU KLUX KLAN HIGHWAY?
Would you travel on the Ku Klux Klan highway? Well thanks to a new ruling, you won’t have to.
The Georgia Department of Transportation rejected the local Ku Klux Klan chapter’s bid to adopt a highway and clean up roadside trash. Now the Klan is crying foul.
In a statement, the Georgia DOT said it rejected the application of the International Keystone Knights of the Ku Klux Klan after consulting with Republican Gov. Nathan Deal and the chair of the State Transportation Board. About a month ago, the infamous white supremacist group applied to put its name on a one-mile stretch of Route 515 in the Appalachian Mountains of Union County, in northern Georgia. But Gov. Deal and other state officials believed the move would be divisive and nixed it.
The Klan says a First Amendment court fight is now likely.
Lol. So I guess it's come to this for the KKK huh..??? Anything to remain relevant..smh.
