Kyle Rittenhouse Is Booed Out Of Memphis!
MAGA misfit Kyle Rittenhouse has learned the hard way that his gun rights/murderous actions are not as popular across the US as he’d hoped.
Current Events :
In case you’re wondering who Kyle Rittenhouse is and why his name is in the news, the answer is simple. He’s a 2-bit murderer. Back in 2020, the then-17-year-old Rittenhouse became ‘famous’ after openly carrying an AR-15 rifle and then using it to shoot 3 men in Kenosha, Wisconsin during a racial justice protest following the police killing of George Floyd in Minnesota. When 2 of the men died, Rittenhouse was arrested. However, he cried on the stand and claimed self-defense, prompting a jury to acquit him. His acquittal was regarded by critics as yet another example of the favorable treatment by law enforcement towards white self-styled militant vigilantes, versus the treatment given to racial justice protestors.
Soon thereafter, the MAGA klan and gun rights movement claimed Rittenhouse as their adopted poster boy — and a star was born.
In an attempt to cash in on his celebrity status, Kyle Rittenhouse accepted an invitation from Turning Point USA (a conservative student organization) to deliver a speech last week at the University of Memphis.
It did not go well.
Immediately upon arrival, Rittenhouse was met with jeers and widespread protests. Students openly voiced their displeasure by carrying signs that read “Murderers don’t belong here!” and “Where’s the tears now, lil boy?” (referencing Rittenhouse’s emotional sobs during his 2021 murder trial). Additionally, the Black Student Association at the University of Memphis called on all students to join them in taking up all the available tickets and filling up seats to stage a mass protest.
Still, Rittenhouse boldly proceeded with his planned remarks and spoke on such topics as the importance of the 2nd amendment and “the lies of Black Lives Matter” (as if he were a bonafide expert on the subjects). However, his remarks were frequently interrupted with one student yelling: “What lie? What lie? Tell me the lies of Black Lives Matter? Tell me the lies you’re [going to] talk about?”
Needless to say, it didn’t take long for the students to boo Rittenhouse off the stage. He abruptly ran off to cheers from the audience and attendees were instructed to immediately vacate the venue.

Following the shattered appearance, students made their thoughts known to the media.
“They’re portraying him like this icon for the gun people … We already have enough gun violence in Memphis itself, so having this guy come here and spread racist views and also talking about how we need more guns on the street … I think it’s awful, just baffling, that they allow this. Because this is borderline free speech, but this is more toward hate speech,” one student said of Rittenhouse.
“We’re also a city that is predominately Black and we’re also a city that is grappling with gun violence … We are actively giving a platform to a white nationalist,” said another.
“Kyle Rittenhouse stormed offstage like the coward he is. I commend the University of Memphis students who organized resistance tonight, along with the Black Student Association, the U of M NAACP, alumni, and faculty who spoke out,” former Shelby County Commissioner Tami Sawyer posted on Twitter/X.
Like the coward he is, Kyle Rittenhouse stormed off stage. I’m proud of the Univeristy of Memphis students who organized resistance tonight, as well as the Black Student Association, the U of M NAACP, alums, and faculty who spoke out. I am not proud of @uofmemphis administration.

In a statement, The University of Memphis responded by saying it was legally obligated to allow Rittenhouse to speak despite the widespread protests.
“The upcoming event at the University of Memphis featuring Kyle Rittenhouse is not sponsored by the university. A registered student organization, University of Memphis’ TPUSA, is hosting the event. Under the 1st amendment and Tennessee’s Campus Free Speech Act, the University of Memphis cannot legally prohibit such events from being hosted by a registered student organization.”
Utilizing a page taken right out of the Donald Trump “excuses” handbook, Kyle Rittenhouse took to Twitter/X to defend his appearance at the university.
“Hi everyone, we’ve just returned from Memphis University. We made it back safely!” Rittenhouse said. “Anyway, it was a fantastic event, and it’s amusing how the media reports we were booed offstage. In reality, we adhered to a strict time limit and left accordingly. It was a great event with intriguing people, to say the least.”
Um… okay!
Kyle Rittenhouse is still scheduled to make appearances at Kent State University and Western Kentucky University in a speaking tour titled “Rittenhouse Recap.” Let’s see if Black student groups hand him the same ‘welcome’ he received in Memphis.

Thanks,DJ for posting about this. I had heard about him tucking his tail and running out of there when the protests got to be too much for him. But I had not read the whole story.
“MAGA misfit” is the perfect name for this intellectually disabled schmuck and his ilk.
