I fully agree with you, BD. Ouf of all the NYC area airports, I actually live the closest to La Guardia. Originally, there was talk of closing La Guardia altogether and spending money on better train connections to JFK. However, I'm glad they scrapped that idea and are sticking with LGA. The current airport is hot, stuffy, crowded and horribly designed, but plans for the new one look great.

Every time I ever flew to this airport it was always a bad experience. It's the closest to New York city so it's convenient but it needed work bad. Glad they decided to spend some money to fix it up.
