Watching CNN now and Akin is saying everybody is overreacing to his choice of words. Basically he wants all ya'll to get over it. Republican chairman is saying hes stubborn and should quit. Also telling him don't come near the convention next week. Hahaha this is getting more entertaining by the minute.

Upset and nervous can only describe my feelings today. I abhor Mr. Akin's remarks and I am hearing he intends to remain defiant and stay in the race. This is a monumental mistake that I am fearful will end up taking the entire party down with him.

First of all this guy needs to drop out the race. Second this is some bad news for Romney and Ryan because its forcing them to address a womans right to choose, but they were hoping not to talk about all that. Repubs are split when it comes to this topic which is the reason Akin said what he did. I see social issues like this and gay marriage becoming a bigger deal than Romney thought this election. He thought it would only be about the economy but guess again.Oh yeah and I just heard Akin has out a new ad asking for forgiveness. Give it up son!
