Very well written article here. I used to be one of those bigots you speak of until my own brother came out as gay. I learned a lot and have a whole new perspective on homosexuals now. Why should we care who they marry? Anyway nice write up.

And why should "We" (those of us who are NOT part of that shameful group) give actual BIGOTS (Black or White) any cover???"WE" shouldn't.But I get your point DJ. Time has about run out for homobigots.Yes, they will continue to make hateful and prejudicial comments. They will continue to promote and support intolernace of, AND discrimination against, Gays. And NO DOUBT some (if not most) of the LOUDEST and UGLIEST voices will come from right-wing, and Black, PULPITS..which is absolutely hysterical when you think about the total hypocrisy of too many preachers to take seriously. But the good news is the ranks of their followers (at least on THIS issue) shrink smaller and smaller every day, as more and more people realize THIS is an EQUALITY issue. Nothing more. Nothing less.Slightly OFF topic: I waited until after 1 P.M. today to post my opinion in hopes that at least 1 or 2 more voices would chime in. Really disappointing to see that that didn't happen.Anyway: Great post DJ! It's certainly a topic well worth discussion.
