With his impeachment trial set to begin today, Donald Trump has a really big problem — and his name is Lev Parnas.
Top News Today
Lev Parnas is a Soviet-born businessman who worked hand in hand on Ukraine with Trump attorney and personal flunkie, Rudy Giuliani. Lev Parnas is also the man who knows where all the bodies are buried and appeared on CNN and MSNBC last week and sang like a canary about Trump’s dirty dealings. His words were so damning that it has ‘The Donald’ and all of his Republican-protectors shaking in their boots ahead of today’s Trump impeachment trial.
During his televised expose’, Lev Parnas admitted that Trump lied when he claimed his overtures to Ukraine were about rooting out corruption and not about advancing his 2020 reelection campaign.
“That was the most important thing,” Parnas said, “for him to stay on for four years and keep the fight going. I mean, there was no other reason for doing it.”
According to Parnas, his task was to convince Ukraine to announce an investigation into former vice-president Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. He added that he received personal instruction from Rudy Giuliani to deliver a quid pro quo offer to Ukrainian leaders, promising access to or the support of the Trump administration in return for announcing such an investigation.
Parnas went on to describe his relationship with Giuliani, saying the two talked every day and that he was the first person Rudy would brief after leaving the White House or speaking to Trump.
When CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked how he had the authority to make specific offers on behalf of the administration, Parnas said he was given full authorization and “told to do so” by Rudy Giuliani on behalf of Donald Trump.
For his part, ‘The Donald’ has claimed (as usual and as expected) that he doesn’t know Lev Parnas and never met him. However, a series of photos released over the weekend clearly proves Trump is lying. Additionally, a damning document from Trump attorney Jay Sekulow connects Trump with Parnas via Rudy Giuliani.
This new evidence from Lev Parnas is powerful enough to sink Trump and Giuliani as well as VP Mike Pence in an impeachment trial. However, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has made it clear he is working “hand in glove” with the Trump White House, which basically means he is prepared to stage a sham of a trial and has already colluded with defendant Trump to rule that his actions were innocent so as to keep him in office.
Still, the words of Lev Parnas could prove to be a thorn in Trump’s side for the next several months. Imagine all the commercials the eventual Democratic presidential nominee will run featuring Parnas telling everything Trump, McConnell, and Senate Republicans will try to silence during impeachment.
Oh, you can run, Donald, but you can’t hide.

Repubs are not going to let him speak but everything this man said can be used in a political ad this year.
