LEVI: “I’m Sorry”
They’re often the two hardest words in the English language for most people to utter. But Sarah Palin’s “almost” son-in-law Levi Johnston has taken the first steps toward atonement by telling the Palin family: I’M SORRY!
Now that Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin have reconciled and are raising their son Tripp together, Johnston is going all out to repair his strained relationship with Sarah Palin and her family. “Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry. Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true,” Johnston said in a recent interview. “I have already privately apologized to Todd and Sarah. Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize.”
“So to the Palin family in general and to Sarah Palin in particular, please accept my regrets and forgive my youthful indiscretion,” Johnston said in the statement. “I hope one day to restore your trust.”
Kudos to Levi! It takes a Good man to admit when he's done something wrong and then apologize for it. The truth is, Levi and Bristol were shamelessly exploited_first by Sarah Palin and the McCain camp and then by the media following the Presidential election. Perhaps he and Bristol have now learned two valuable lessons:1. Don't allow ANYONE to "Play" you. And…2. Stay AWAY from the media.
