Social media is having a veritable field day over the predictably failed “marriage” between Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham and Donald Trump.

For years, Graham has had his head so far up Trump’s ass, it’s a wonder he could breathe. Of course, this was after Graham initially bashed ‘The Donald’ as “a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot” during the 2016 presidential primaries. Oh, but times have changed as Lindsey Graham has since gotten completely in bed with Trump (after he moved into The White House) and became one of his fiercest defenders — expecting that one day, his unwavering loyalty would pay off in dividends.
Well, too bad for Graham, but apparently he never got the memo that Donald Trump only loves Donald Trump — and he will swiftly throw ANYBODY under the bus so long as it serves himself.
Poor Lindsay learned this lesson the hard way last week when Trump went public with his disdain for the GOP senator, appearing to suggest that he merely tolerates Graham.
The fireworks began when the antigay (and allegedly gay) senator from South Carolina announced that Trump’s recent remarks about wishing to pardon January 6th rioters if he were to take back the White House were “inappropriate.”
LESSON #1 in TrumpWorld: NEVER go against ‘The Donald.’ And, Lindsay broke the first rule of being a Trump fanboy.
“Well, Lindsey Graham’s wrong,” Trump responded to the senator. “I mean, Lindsey’s a nice guy—but he’s a RINO (Republican In Name Only). Lindsey’s wrong. … Lindsey Graham doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about if he says that.”
Ouch!
Now, Twitter is razzing Lindsey Graham for being a loyal Trump-flunkie all these years only to get dismissed as a “RINO” the moment he says something in defiance of ‘The Donald.’

Lindsey Graham personally donated $500,000 to Donald Trump & his legal fund. To pay him back, Trump just called him a “RINO” & said “he doesn’t know what the hell he is talking about.”

Trump’s flippant response to Lindsey Graham should come as surprise to no one.

When you embrace a snake…a highly venomous one at that…you shouldn’t be surprised when it turns on you and bites you!

McConnell calls Jan. 6 a ‘violent insurrection,’ breaking with RNC
WASHINGTON — Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell disagreed Tuesday with the Republican National Committee’s recent censure of two GOP lawmakers, as well as its characterization of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.
“We all were here. We saw what happened. It was a violent insurrection for the purpose of trying to prevent the peaceful transfer of power after a legitimately certified election, from one administration to the next. That’s what it was,” McConnell, R-Ky., told reporters at his weekly news conference.
His remarks added to a backlash from Democrats and numerous Republicans after the RNC approved a resolution Friday accusing Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., and Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., of “participating in a Democrat-led persecution of ordinary citizens engaged in legitimate political discourse,” a reference to the Jan. 6 committee. I do not understand Lindsay Graham at all. First he calls Trump everything but a child of God then he joins up with him as if he is the greatest person ever. Of course Trump would sell Lindsay and anybody out if they were getting in his way. This man cannot be this stupid.

Of course Lindsay Graham is THAT stupid! But he’s also cynical and treacherous. Add “stupid” to the mix and you’ve pretty much sized him up to a “T.”
Not sure if he’s actually “racist” or not(?) But given that he hitched his wagon to Trump, he’s at least “just fine” with supporting a rabid racist so there’s that too.
