The word I use _and think best describes Lin_is Perserverance. The first half of the game was a bit of a struggle for Lin but he NEVER gives up. He hangs in there and keeps pressing. Looking for opportunities to make something happen.   The 2nd-half, and in particular the 4th quater (and especially the final 2 minutes) of that game was as incredible a display of Leadership and pure B-ball skill as I've ever seen. Just riveting!      And I hope this doesn't sound racist because it's TRULY meant to be a compliment:   When I watch Lin play, what I see is an incredibly talented Chinese-American who knows how to play elite BLACK basketball.</span>

D*MN that was crazy. This kid Lin is the real deal. He completely torched Kobe Bryant. KOBE BRYANT!! I hate to be a fairweather follower but I gotta start watching Knick games more often. They could make some noise with STAT and Melo + Tyson and Lin. I'm impressed!

But Lin's story, and the way he plays the game, caught my attention right from the start.I'm hoping he has what it takes to go the distance and isn't just a flash-in-the-pan type player who'll soon fizzle out. He's such a skillful and energetic player to watch!
