LotusGrill Smokeless Charcoal Grill For Summer!
Do you enjoy grilling out during the summer but can’t because you live in an apartment complex or it’s against the rules of your homeowner’s association to have an open fire on the balcony? Well, the LotusGrill might be for you!
Technology
The people over at LotusGrill are championing their latest invention: a smokeless charcoal grill. This new-fangled grill comes in a variety of sizes, uses lighter gel (similar to the kind that fuels sterno candles) instead of standard charcoal, is cool to the touch, and operates on only 4 AA batteries.
According to Mischa Ohler, the company’s technical developer:
“The grill is comprised of a double-walled bowl, stainless steel inner bowl, ignition plate, charcoal container and lid, and the grill top. The charcoal chamber’s lid prevents the juices from dripping onto the charcoal, which causes smoke. The outer bowl doesn’t get hot, so you can put the grill on virtually any surface. To control the temperature of the grill, you turn the knob, which speeds up or slows down the fan. The grill can get up to about 660 degrees Fahrenheit (350 degrees Celsius). The grill has an optional lid, which can make it a bit more versatile and create such delicacies as pizza, bread, and muffins.”
The largest grill retails now for about $229 however, a variety of models (including the smallest version) starts at around $160. Check out the video below and ignite your summer grilling with the new LotusGrill.
