Proving that he has no limits and no sense of patriotism, Donald Trump is receiving heavy criticism from both sides of the political spectrum after siding with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un in referring to former Vice-President Joe Biden as ‘Low IQ Joe’ during remarks in Japan over the Memorial Day weekend.
Politics
With more than 20 major Democratic candidates running for president in 2020, Donald Trump is deeply fascinated with the candidacy of Joe Biden. Why? Because Joe Biden seems poised as Trump’s biggest threat to kick him out of the Oval Office. So, it’s no wonder that Playground Bully Trump acted characteristically unpresidential by directly launching political jabs against Mr. Biden during a state visit to a foreign nation.
That fight didn’t go well this past Memorial Day weekend.
On Sunday, Trump not only downplayed the actions of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and his recent North Korean short-range missile tests (something he’s promised not to do), but ‘The Donald’ also went on to parrot NK propaganda that refers to the former vice-president as ‘Low IQ Joe Biden.’
“North Korea fired off some small weapons, which disturbed some of my people, and others, but not me,” Trump tweeted from Japan. “I have confidence that Chairman Kim will keep his promise to me, & also smiled when he called Swampman Joe Biden a low IQ individual, & worse. Perhaps that’s sending me a signal?”

Yes, Donald, he is sending you a signal while also playing you (yet again) for a fool. Kim Jong Un baited you into siding with a foreign dictator against not only a fellow American but a former Vice-President of the United States… and you fell for it.
Now, Trump is having to pay the piper for his ignorance in allowing a communist ruler to pull him into a ‘Low IQ Joe’ political game while outside of the US.
On Tuesday, Republican Rep. Peter King of New York blasted Trump for his unAmerican behavior, reminding the current White House occupant that politics traditionally stop at water’s edge and that it’s never right to side with a murderous dictator vs. a fellow American.
.
Wrong for @POTUS Trump to criticize @JoeBiden in Japan and to agree with Kim Jong-un. Politics stops at water’s edge. Never right to side with murderous dictator vs. fellow American.

Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois also took offense at Trump’s unpresidential actions, saying “It’s Memorial Day Weekend and you’re taking a shot at Biden while praising a dictator. This is just plain wrong.”

However, the greatest response came from the Democrats. Joe Biden could have responded directly to Donald Trump himself, however, he didn’t. Instead, he remained “presidential” and allowed deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield to speak on his behalf.
In a statement, Bedingfield ripped into Trump, saying “The president’s comments are beneath the dignity of the office.”
She then added:
“To be on foreign soil, on Memorial Day, and to side repeatedly with a murderous dictator against a fellow American and former Vice President speaks for itself. And it’s part of a pattern of embracing autocrats at the expense of our institutions — whether taking Putin’s word at face value in Helsinki or exchanging ‘love letters’ with Kim Jong Un.”
For his part, Donald Trump felt the backlash and attempted to save face with a poorly-concocted excuse for his behavior.
“I was actually sticking up for Sleepy Joe Biden while on foreign soil,” Trump said in a tweet Tuesday evening. “Kim Jong Un called him a ‘low IQ idiot,’ and many other things, whereas I related the quote of Chairman Kim as a much softer ‘low IQ individual.’ Who could possibly be upset with that?”
So, Donald Trump would rather coddle up to an authoritarian dictator (who’s lying to his face about dismantling nuclear weapons) than support or, at the very least remain silent about a fellow American and former vice-president while visiting foreign soil on Memorial Day??
Nice try, Donald, but no. On second thought, that’s not even a nice try. Just NO!
I have no words for this. Smdh
