MAGA Madness landed inside the US Capitol building on Wednesday when Donald Trump’s minions stormed the American citadel of democracy and overtook the US House of Representatives and the United States Senate.

On Wednesday morning, Donald Trump blew the dog whistle and told his sycophants to march to the Capitol building to halt the certification of Joe Biden as president. By Wednesday afternoon, MAGA Madness grew to a crowd of several thousand who rushed the Capitol, climbed walls, smashed windows, breached security, and eventually made their way inside both the House and the Senate — high-fiving each other for the successful break-in and taking selfies while sitting at the leaders’ seats.
The MAGA crowd also broke into Senate and congressional offices — even going so far as to leave a note on the desk of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi that read: “We will not back down!”
Such a scene in Washington has not been seen since the British attacked America in the 1800s. The melee left at least 4 MAGA fanatics dead and many others injured.
Naturally, there are a million questions that need to be asked. Let’s take a look at a few of them:
- Why weren’t officials better prepared for this day of violence?
- Why were Republicans trampling over states’ rights after spending decades (allegedly) defending states’ rights?
- How do Republicans claim to support the constitution, yet stage a veritable coup in direct defiance of the constitution?
- Why were MAGA fanatics filmed fighting police while carrying “Blue Lives Matter” flags?
- Why were several police officers seen opening the gates surrounding the Capitol and rolling out the red carpet for the MAGA’s to come right in?
- Why were some police officers caught on camera taking selfies with rioters inside the Capitol?
- Why is the National Guard immediately deployed during Black Lives Matter protests, but police are under-prepared and “caught off guard” when the crowd involves MAGA/Proud Boys/white supremacists?
- If this had been a gang of a thousand Black people storming the US Capitol building, would only 4 people be dead — or would the Capitol steps be covered in bloodshed?
As of this writing, Democratic and Republican officials are embarrassed and angry — particularly since America has lost its moral authority to lecture other nations about democracy and fair elections EVER again.
After tweeting support of the rioters, Twitter locked Donald Trump’s account and threatened to possibly delete his account and block him from the social network for the remainder of his term.
Republicans in Congress who had intended to stage at least 6 separate objections to the certification of Joe Biden pulled out at the 11th hour, canceling their attempt to stage a coup on behalf of Donald Trump. Even Sen. Lindsay Graham — a staunch Trump supporter — took to the Senate floor to declare that the election was over, that Joe Biden won, and that it’s time to move on.
Additionally, several West Wing officials inside the Trump administration announced their intention to resign and no longer be part of the MAGA Madness. Several cabinet officials even discussed the possibility of invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from power before he can do any further damage.
Whoever said “This is NOT America” lied. This IS America — in all its glory!

Forbes: Some of President Donald Trump’s Cabinet secretaries are discussing whether to invoke a section of the 25th Amendment to strip Trump of his powers and install Vice President Mike Pence as head of the executive branch, according to multiple reports, after chaos took hold of Washington on Wednesday when Trump supporters violently took over the U.S. Capitol. Under Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, if the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet agree that the president is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office,” Pence would immediately assume the role of acting president. Pence would likely retain the role even if Trump attempted to retake power by asserting in writing to the president pro tempore of the Senate and the speaker of the House that he is fit to hold office. The vice president and a majority of the Cabinet can then formally object… Read more »
