Maybe masks have more value in urban areas, but we hardly wear them here in Southern California. Most of our time is spent inside our own vehicles. I’m glad they’re beginning to lift certain restrictions and summer is a good time to experiment and see what works and what doesn’t.

I do not care what anybody says I am not taking my mask off yet. I am going to keep on staying six feet away from people and if I see somebody with no mask on coming down the street I am going to avoid them like they got something. This is real foolish over a mask that is not hurting nobody. They are doing all this too soon and they know it. So you all can go right on ahead taking off masks but count me out.

Frankly I’ve seen and heard Enough of Dr. Fauci and most of the other so-called medical experts addressing this issue…or ANY issue related to this deadly virus for that matter.

The CDC pretty much destroyed it’s reputation with me under Trump. And even though Trump is no longer dictating their madness the CDC has certainly shown Me that they’re just another “tool” for the rich and powerful and NOT always driven by “the science.”

So no I’m just NOT paying too much attention to anything they say anymore.

Thanks DJ. Was hoping you’d post about this topic this morning and as usual you did not disappoint. Your questions are on point and I’ll start by answering them:

No. the coronavirus ISN’T over to the point where it’s legitimately safe to go maskless again in society.

Yes, the CDC is indeed bending” to political/corporate lobbyists, AND “public pressure and lifting the mandate too soon. And the new guidelines will make it harder for the CDC to require masks again should the pandemic make a surprise resurgence.

Yes, I’m ready to take off my mask. But no, I don’t feel it’s safe enough to go maskless in public once again. And I won’t be doing so….not anytime soon anyway.
