In case you missed it, former “future son-in-law” turned Palin family nemesis Levi Johnston is at it again. Just when Sarah and clan thought they were rid of this “thorn in the side” once and for all, he has reared his head yet again. The latest news is the former Republican Vice-Presidential candidate wanted to adopt his child so that people wouldn’t know her 17-year-old daughter Bristol was pregnant.

In a recent interview with VANITY FAIR, Johnston said Palin had a plan to deal with Bristol’s pregnancy. “Sarah kept mentioning this plan. She was nagging — she wouldn’t give it up. She would say, ‘So, are you gonna let me adopt him?’ We both kept telling her we were definitely not going to let her adopt the baby. I think Sarah wanted to make Bristol look good, and she didn’t want people to know that her 17-year-old daughter was going to have a kid,” the 19 year-old Johnston told the magazine. He also claimed the Palin house in Wasilla was not what most people might think. “The Palin house was much different from what many people expect of a normal family, even before she was nominated for vice president. There wasn’t much parenting in that house. Sarah doesn’t cook, Todd doesn’t cook — the kids would do it all themselves.”

Levi Johnston lived with the Palin’s for two months while awaiting the birth of the baby and to facilitate the “one big happy family” image Sarah Palin wanted the world to see. But as some predicted, Johnston never became the perfect son-in-law figure the McCain/Palin camp presented at the Republican National Convention last summer, as the couple called off their wedding shortly after their son was born. Johnston is currently pursuing an acting career and has just accepted an invitation to pose partially nude for PLAYGIRL MAGAZINE.
