Meadows, Waldron, And The Attempted Coup
A surprising new expose’ has listed Mark Meadows, Phil Waldron, and Ginni Thomas as lead players in the January 6th attempted coup on democracy to keep Donald Trump in power.
Politics :
According to CNN, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows exchanged text messages in December of 2020 with Phil Waldron, a retired colonel who has for years pushed false fraud claims that voting machines are hacked. Waldron texted Meadows that he and other Trump allies were attempting to convince election officials in Arizona to turn voting machines over to them so they could prove (or at least manufacture) election fraud. In the words of Waldron to Meadows, Arizona would be “our lead domino we were counting on to start the cascade” of convincing others of fraud and that Trump should remain in The White House.
According to Forbes, Waldron again texted Meadows on December 28, 2020, claiming his team had allegedly found voting irregularities in multiple states — dubbing it the “Southern steal” — and that Georgia and Arizona could introduce just enough doubt to eventually keep Donald Trump in power.
If that wasn’t enough, former House member Denver Riggleman indicated during an interview with 60 minutes that additional messages obtained from Meadows by the January 6 committee revealed a “roadmap to an attempted coup” that included text messages with Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
So, to summarize, it appears as if former chief of staff Mark Meadows, former military colonel and Trump ally Phil Waldron, as well as Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, were all conspiring together with January 6th operatives to stage a coup and defeat democracy on behalf of Donald Trump.
Federal and state prosecutors are currently looking into efforts by these individuals to overturn the 2020 election, with particular interest in their efforts to access voting data, CNN reports. Authorities are also looking into far-right attorney Sidney Powell, who allegedly funded efforts to access voting data, former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, whose cellphone was seized by the FBI as part of its investigation into an election security breach in Mesa County.
As more of the dots are connected regarding January 6th, it appears more roads continue to lead to Donald Trump’s White House — as well as the spouse of a sitting Supreme Court Justice. Or, in other words, it’s becoming more clear just how close American democracy came to death.
