Mr. BD, my friend, you are absolutely correct. Myself and perhaps most in the media expected Meghan Markle to “code switch” and release most of her blackness for the sake of royalty. After viewing the wedding on Saturday I am very happy to eat crow!

Oh yeah DJ thank you for adding the video of the choir singing. That was my favorite part of the whole wedding. They sang that.

I didn’t watch this wedding on Saturday but I did catch a lot of it later in the day. No offense to you DJ but I remember you wrote a article when they got engaged that said she won’t be a black princess. But from what I saw that wedding was as black as can be. The mother with her dreadlocks, the black preacher, the gospel choir, plus the guy who played the cello. It was more black than anybody expected and what surprised me is the queen allowed it. That just shows how the royal family is changing and how she is turning over control to William and Harry. Once they rise up into power they are going to make royalty a whole new thing. Anyway Meghan was beautiful and so was her mother. Like Truth said Harry looked at her like nobody else was in the room. I love seeing real love and this was it. I am glad I got to see the whole wedding later and didn’t end up missing it.
