A thing of beauty took the stage at CES 2020 in Las Vegas recently: the new Mercedes Benz Vision AVTR.

The concept car was designed in partnership with Mercedes Benz and director James Cameron to promote the upcoming film AVATAR 2. According to Mercedes Benz, the concept car was created with an “inside-out design structure” that combines the car’s interior and exterior into an “emotional whole.” This includes a steering mechanism that “becomes one” with the driver with hand gestures versus a standard steering wheel.
Check out video of the Vision AVTR. This car may never see a real road, but it’s certainly fun to dream.

Wow! Speaking as a huge fan of AVATAR 1, that car LOOKS incredible. I love the overall design of it..but frankly it’s a young person’s car. I don’t see many “Senior age” folk flocking to buy it, unless they’re rich men trying to be young..lol. Also, I’m a private person by nature so I can do without the see-through doors.
