On Wednesday, Michelle Obama took to the White House South Lawn to jump double dutch rope, swish a hula hoop and run barefoot through an obstacle course with dozens of DC kids. The First Lady not only hosted, but actively participated in the Healthy Kids Fair, which promotes exercise and healthy cooking for children. About 100 students and parents from local elementary schools took part. Although Mrs. Obama was a natural on the hula hoop, the double dutch didn’t go so well. Even still, when was the last time we saw ANY First Lady keeping it so real at the White House?
