In reply to Mr.BD. Not disagreeing with you at all BD. All I'm saying is that the circumstances in the lead up to the killing of Floyd and Wright, in particular, are very different.

In reply to Truthiz1. I see your point Truth. But this has happened too many times in Minnesota. First there was Philando Castille then George Floyd and now this. There is something wrong up there in Minnesota with the way they are training those cops or something. But it has to stop.

A black man getting shot is real sad. He should not have tried to run but the cop is the one in the wrong. If she cannot tell the difference between a gun and a taser she should not be a police officer plain and simple. The way she and the chief resigned tells me this is not going to end well.

Tensions are running high, and understandably so. But I try to keep most of my emotions at bay so I can look at all things related in the truest context, based on the most accurate information presented to me.

So let me start with this: Except for the fact that Floyd and Wright were men of Color (1 was Black,1 was Bi-racial) AND neither of them should be dead….I don’t view the killing of Duante Wright the same way at all as George Floyd.

George Floyd initially resisted arrest but was quickly subdued by 3, if not 4, cops. He was thrown to the ground, while IN handcuffs and then spent at least 9 minutes helplessly begging for his life. In contrast to Duante Wright – as the cop attempted to put handcuffs on him, Duante wrestled away, jumped in his car was driving off.

To me, the situations and circumstances leading up to their deaths are not remotely the same.
