The End Of Donald Trump

As the old proverb goes, “You live by the sword, you die by the sword.” Or, in the case of Donald Trump, “You live by misogyny, you die by misogyny.” That is the reality he faces today.

Aside from being a Muslim-fearing, Mexican-hating, race-baiting idiot, Donald Trump also has the dubious distinction of being a misogynist. Need proof? Just take a look at “The Donald’s” vulgar verbal and sexual assault video on women that was released over the weekend and it will all become crystal clear. His years of womanizing and calling females fat pigs, bitches and more, may have finally caught up with him at the worst possible moment (for his campaign). Is this finally the end of the road for Donald Trump.

The 2005 video of Trump’s vulgarity was leaked late Friday by The Washington Post and has completely rocked the 2016 presidential election. The Trump Campaign immediately hunkered down in defense mode, forcing the nominee to issue a video apology that couldn’t have been farther from sincere.
“I said it, I was wrong, and I apologize,” Trump said, before rushing to deflect the issue and blame on any and everyone but himself. “This is a distraction from the issues we are facing today,” Trump continued, before adding that his “foolish” words aren’t much different from the words and actions of Bill Clinton, whom he accused of abusing women, and Hillary Clinton, whom he accused of having “bullied, attacked, shamed and intimidated his victims.”
“This was locker-room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course — not even close,” Trump said in the statement.
“I’ve never said I’m a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I’m not. I’ve said and done things I regret, and the words released today on this more than a decade-old video are one of them. Anyone who knows me knows these words don’t reflect who I am,” Trump said before adding: “I apologize if anyone was offended.”

Notice that his so-called “apology” refused to accept responsibility and was contingent on IF anyone was offended.
Well, plenty of people were offended, starting with members of Trump’s own Grand Ol’ Party.

As Republicans raced to distance themselves from Trump’s death knell, House Speaker Paul Ryan led the way by uninviting the presidential nominee to a political event in his home state of Wisconsin.
“I am sickened by what I heard today,” Ryan said. “Women are to be championed and revered, not objectified. I hope Mr. Trump treats this situation with the seriousness it deserves and works to demonstrate to the country that he has greater respect for women than this clip suggests.”
A myriad of other Republicans called for Trump to drop out of the race entirely and allow his running mate, Gov. Mike Pence, to lead the ticket.
“Mr. Trump, I respectfully ask you with all due respect to step aside, step down, allow someone else to carry the banner of these principles,” Sen. Mike Lee of Utah said.
The mood was not so polite during a Saturday segment on CNN, when a shouting match erupted between 2 prominent Republican operatives.
“Every single Republican is going to have to answer the question, ‘What did you do the day you saw the tape of this man boasting about grabbing a woman’s pussy?’” said Republican strategist Ana Navarro.
“Please stop saying that word. My daughter is listening,” chimed in Trump supporter, Scottie Nell Hughes.
“You know what, Scottie?” Navarro shouted, after some loud crosstalk. “Don’t tell me you’re offended when I say ‘pussy,’ but you’re not offended when Donald Trump said it. I’m not running for president. He is.”
With Donald Trump’s vulgar rant being seen the world over, it appears all hell has broken loose within the Republican Party. Despite his debate performance on Sunday and his attempt to deflect by parading out former mistresses of Bill Clinton, the issue is not going away — no matter how much he hopes that it will.
