MISSIONARY CHARGES DROPPED
A Haitian judge has dropped kidnapping charges against all 10 U.S. missionaries detained earlier this year for trying to take children out of the country following the January 12th earthquake.
Group leader Laura Silsby is the sole missionary who still remains in jail. She faces a charge of organizing the illegal transport of 33 children in the chaos after the earthquake which, if convicted, carries a maximum penalty of three years in prison.
