This doesn't make any sense. Everybody doesn't do a background check if they got their gun from a gun show, or somebody gave it to them or they stole it or whatever. There are a lot of guns on the streets that are not registered, so when these people don't have to get a permit either that makes it worse. Plus I don't think Missouri passed this law just for certain counties. If you have a gun you don't need a permit anywhere in that state. So I don't see what part of this story is wrong?

Plus, most counties have laws that require a permit to carry a firearm. So, the only places you will be allowed to conceal a firearm without a permit are in counties/municipalities that do not have these laws. Before putting blanket statements out, perhaps you should do some research to ensure the "news" you are reporting is true.
